Ceylon Cold Stores’ new state-of-the-art ice cream factory is the largest ice cream manufacturing facility in Sri Lanka and one of the most modern and sophisticated in Asia. Developed for the production of Impulse ice cream, the factory is located on a 9.5-acre land at the Seethawaka Export Processing Zone in Avissawella and is equipped with advanced technology, sophisticated systems and environmentally-friendly manufacturing methods.
The Elephant House Ice Cream factory in the Seethawaka Export Processing Zone in Avissawella developed under the flagship of Colombo Ice Company (Pvt) Ltd (CICL) is a modern state-of-the-art facility and a one of its kind found in South East Asia. Commissioned in 2018, the facility produces ice creams under Elephant House Impulse range for the Sri Lankan market and has increased the Impulse Ice Cream production capacity by 100%.
Designed as per the global sterile manufacturing regulatory guidance, all processing equipment within the factory are sourced from the world’s best equipment manufacturers.
